SUMMARY:Serra Cross at Grant Park to Ventura Pier Loop ~ Gentler Intermediate
DESCRIPTION:This hike will start at Brakey Rd (which is parallel with the Ventura Botanical Gardens) near the parking lot. Then\, we will gradually hike up to the top of the hill behind the Serra Cross at Grant Park\, which sits above Ventura (just above City Hall). Then\, we’ll hike down to the Serra Cross and zigzag down to Ventura Pier through Ferro Dr. and back to our cars. \nHere you have nothing\, and everything — the whisper of eucalyptus trees\, and one of the finest panoramic seascape sunset views in the world. Below you the buildings of a toy town\, and beyond\, the Pacific\, broken only by the rise of Anacapa and Santa Cruz Islands. Some views just plain make you glad you’re here.
