SUMMARY:🥾Chatsworth Adventure Hike
DESCRIPTION:On this serendipitous hike we will rediscover some old trails I haven’t used in a few years — and others haven’t used in about 10 years — as we blaze a path around an ongoing housing development. \nLight bushwhacking may be required. We’ll also be doing some creeking putting our poison oak avoidance skills to the test. See https://amzn.to/40OVuuv \nDue to the nature of this hike I cannot be precise on the stats. It will be about 6-8 miles with about 1\,000 feet total ascent. I am rating it DIFFICULT due to terrain. See the HWD Hike Rating Guide. Wear long pants. \nDIRECTIONS\nPark in the dirt lot on the corner of Poema Pl and Topanga Cyn Bl. Enter lot from Poema. \nTrail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated.\nBring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need. \nTrail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival.
