DESCRIPTION:The weather is finally cooling down…enough to do an Ojai ride!!\nWe’ll be leaving promptly at 9:15 am from Ventura. We won’t be waiting for anyone who is late. If you find yourself arriving late for whatever reason\, please drive to Foster Park where you can meet us. We should be there around 10 am. Also post that you’ll be meeting us there on this meetup. \nMake sure you bring along a spare inner tube or slime as well as a bike lock if you plan on having lunch. \nMEETUP LOCATION: San Buenaventura State Beach\, Ventura in the main parking lot accessed via Pierpoint Blvd. \nMEETUP DATE AND TIME: Wednesday\, Sept 10 at 9:00 a.m. \nROUTE \nMEETUP PARKING FEE: Free parking on the street\, paid parking in the lot where we meet. \nDISTANCE: 36 miles round trip \nDURATION: 5 hours \nELEVATION GAIN: 1100 feet \nBIKE TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A paved two lane bike path on one of the best and most scenic bike paths in Southern California. \nTHE PACE: 11 MPH on up \nLEVEL: Advanced Beginner on up \nLUNCH: In Ojai we’ll be having lunch at Zaidee’s Bar and Grill before returning. if not interested in having lunch with the group\, you can return on your own. \nMY CELL # IS: 818-307-6460

DESCRIPTION:**ROUTE \nBIKE RIDE DESCRIPTION: We’ll start out on a paved two lane bike path on one of the best and most scenic bike paths in Southern California\, and then we’ll get some street riding in to Lake Casitas. We’ll finish the ride on the bike path back to Ventura. \nMEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: San Buenaventura State Beach\, Ventura at 8:00am. You can park on the street outside of the state beach to avoid a parking fee. \nMEETUP PARKING FEE: Free parking on the street \nDISTANCE: 36 miles round trip \nDURATION: 4+ hours \nELEVATION GAIN: 1600 feet \nBIKE RIDE DESCRIPTION: We’ll start out on a paved two lane bike path on one of the best and most scenic bike paths in Southern California\, and then we’ll get some street riding in to Lake Casitas.
