DESCRIPTION:The Morrison Ranch Trail is a unpaved service road beginning at\nLas Virgenes Road and heading up to Cheeseboro Ridge. We’ll traverse oak savannas and a nice walnut woodland getting to the ridge. We’ll take a break atop Mount Basura\, overlooking Cheeseboro Canyon. \nWe’ll descend into Cheeseboro Canyon via the Canyon View Trail and make a small loop around the southern end of the canyon\, along the Modelo and Fran Pawley Meadow trails\, before returning to the Morrison Ranch Trail. \nHike is about 7.5 miles with 1\,650 feet total ascent and rated MEDIUM+ — see the HWD Hike Rating Guide \nDirections\nThe address posted is a private residence. Trail head is a few yards north of that. Park on street. Coming from the 101 drive past the address and turn around at Thousand Oaks Blvd
