DESCRIPTION:BIKE RIDE FROM VENTURA TO RINCON AND BACK \nWe’ll be riding from San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura to Rincon Point and back. Afterwards\, as an option\, we’ll head (via bike) to Dukes Bar and Grill at 1124 S Seaward Ave\, Ventura for a debriefing.\nMake sure you bring along a spare inner tube. \n**MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: (<-Click) 9:30 am at Buenaventura state park in the parking lot that’s nearest to the beach and the bike path. There are restrooms here. \nMEETUP DIRECTIONS FROM 101: Exit at Seaward Avenue in Ventura and head towards the ocean. Turn right on Pierpoint Blvd and take it to the end which will take you into the park. \nMEETUP DATE AND TIME: Tuesday\, January 27 at 9:30 a.m. \nPARKING FEE: Probably about $10 for the day. There’s also free street parking. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 30 mile ebike ride on the paved Santa Clarita bike trails which form the shape of an abstract four-leaf clover. \nBIKE RIDE QUALIFICATIONS: \nThis ebike ride is very pleasant and suitable for all bike riders who can ride at least 30 miles on mostly flat terrain at a speed of 12 to 15 miles per hour. This ride has one slightly uphill grade. \nSAFETY: \n*** You are required to wear a helmet to ride with our group. *** \n\nMEETING TIME: \nArrive at the McDonalds parking lot at 8:30AM to get ready. \nMeet near the entrance of McDonalds at 8:45AM for introductions and a safety talk. \nWe will depart at 9:00AM. \nRSVP: If you change your mind and are not coming on this bike ride\, please change your RSVP to “No” so we are not waiting for you. \n\nLUNCH and SNACKS: \nPlease bring snacks and water to keep hydrated.
