From what I read it is a giant pile of loose rock (aka scree). \nThe Route\nRodgers Pass Info\n41 miles 9500 feet \nCurrent plan:\nDay 0 (Tuesday): Camp at one of the campgrounds along Tioga Pass Rd. (backpackers camp in Tuolumne meadows is still closed)\nNight 1: Bernice Lake\nNight 2: Lyell Fork of the Merced\nNight 3: Lower Marie Lake\nNight 4: Lyell Canyon \nBear canisters required in Yosemite NP! (I have an extra I can loan out) \nDISCLAIMER: Hike at your own risk. Be responsible for yourself and your safety. Make good decisions. With any trip\, things can change\, reservations can get lost\, the unexpected can happen. A go-with-the-flow attitude is always a good thing\, and most importantly\, let’s all have fun!
