SUMMARY:Hill Canyon up to Lizards Rock
DESCRIPTION:We will start at Santa Rosa parking lot\, cross the bridge over the water and hike down to the new bridge. We will cross the new bridge and hike up to Lizard Rock and the stagecoach bluff before returning to our cars. If you want a shorter hike\, you can turn around at Lizard Rock and go back the same way to your car. \nThis hike is about 5-6 miles with a 900-1000’ elevation gain/loss. Bring lots of water\, the hike is rather exposed. \nDirections:\nFrom Moorpark Road in the Santa Rosa Valley\, drive west on Santa Rosa Road for 3.7 miles\, turn left (south) on Hill Canyon Road for about 0.6 miles to the parking lot. \nFrom the 101 Freeway in Camarillo\, take exit 52 onto Santa Rosa Road and drive northeast.
