SUMMARY:bG Gallery presents "Light" - Featuring Our Own Jazan Kozma!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening reception of “Light” presented by the California Art League and bG Gallery. \nOpening Reception & Awards Presentation:\nSaturday\, November 7\, 5–8 PM \nArtist Talk & Reception: Sunday\, November 15\, 2–5 PM\nExhibition Dates: November 3–18\, 2026 \nJazan Kozma will have two photos in the exhibition. \nbG Gallery and the California Art League present Light\, a group exhibition exploring light in its physical\, emotional\, poetic\, and metaphorical forms. \nLight cast upon darkness can forcefully or subtly illuminate form. Through shifts in intensity\, contrast\, atmosphere\, and perception\, light can suggest drama or poetry and transform how an image\, object\, or space is experienced. \nBut Light extends beyond illumination. Light can also suggest weight—or its absence. A floating feather placed beside something monumental can transform our understanding of both. A light conversation\, uplifted spirits\, contentment\, peace\, and a sense of “lightness of being” move the exhibition into more abstract and emotional territory. \nAt its most elemental\, light signals presence. In a space of darkness\, even the smallest sliver can fundamentally change what we perceive and what we know is there. \nBringing together works across painting\, photography\, drawing\, digital art\, mixed media\, collage\, and sculpture\, Light presents varied artistic interpretations of this deceptively simple idea—from literal investigations of illumination and shadow to works concerned with hope\, gravity\, atmosphere\, perception\, and transcendence. \nThe exhibition is presented by the California Art League in collaboration with bG Gallery and is juried by Om Navon Bleicher\, Director of bG Gallery. Bleicher’s curatorial practice brings together established and emerging artists across conceptual and expressive approaches\, often creating dialogues between otherwise divergent artistic practices. \n“Light” presented by CAL and bG Gallery will be on view from November 3\, 2026\, to November 18\, 2026.\nbG Gallery \nBergamot Station Arts Center\n2525 Michigan Avenue\, Suite A2\nSanta Monica\, CA 90404\nBGartGalleries.com\ninfo@bgartdealings.com\n[(310) 906-4211](tel:(310) 906-4211)
