DESCRIPTION:Snowshoes Required: Dates may change depending on weather conditions. \nYosemite – Snow Camping (Badger Pass to Dewey Point) \nWinter transforms Yosemite’s familiar landscapes; exploring in winter is like finding a whole new park. But winter is less forgiving for the wilderness traveller\, and some extra precautions are in order. \nNOT FOR BEGINNERS (We reserve the right to deny or remove any members if they are deemed inappropriate for this trip. ) You must have previous backpack with this group before. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Join one of our other trips to qualify.) \nRSVP: You will be put on a waiting list\, we will contact you via meetup message. If you do not respond to our message\, we will go to the next person on the waiting list. RSVP will open in FEB. \nTrail Stats\nMileage: 12-14 Miles Round Trip\nTrip Elevation Gain: 800 -1000 Ft\nLevel: Moderately\nTerrain Type: Snow & COLD* \nItinerary (updating soon) \nSnowshoe touring in Yosemite can be a magnificent experience\, or it can be a disaster if certain simple preparations are ignored. Be responsible for yourself and your safety. Make good decisions. With any trip\, things can change\, reservations can get lost\, the unexpected can happen. A go-with-the-flow attitude is always a good thing\, and most importantly\, let’s all have fun! This is an intermediate hike.
