SUMMARY:Tapo Canyon Trail
DESCRIPTION:https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/tapo-canyon-trail?u=i \nHello Fellow Hikers\, \n( please read liability disclaimer at the bottom )  \nJoin me on a easier moderate hike at Tapo Canyon Trail in Simi Valley. This hike has a nice gradual walk until we start a gradual climb were we will start our loop. We should encounter wildflowers and mountain views. Our loop will drop down then we will continue until we start our climb back up. From there it will be all downhill and straight back to our cars. I have attached the AllTrails link for directions\, stats and photos….We will be following the AllTrails map from start to finish… \nhttps://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/tapo-canyon-trail?u=i \nTrail Loop \nMiles 4.3 \nRated Moderate \nElevation Gain 698 ft \nDogs Allowed \nAs of now there is no sweeper for this hike so please know if you feel you can not finish for any reason please turn back early. \nPlease check back on hike info as rain\, heat advisory\, strong winds or low attendance may cause the hike to be rescheduled \nWe will always follow Golden Rules: \n\n\nHike your own hike \n\n\nPlease stop at every junction and split to wait for others to catch up \n\n\nPlease remember to bring all essentials you’ll need for a hike \n(water\,hat\,sunglasses\,hiking boot/hiking shoes poles if needed snacks) \nLiability Disclaimer: \nAnd last….The Organizer\, Co Organizer\, Assistant Organizers and Event hosts in this group are not professional guides. It’s a great moderate hike and a great workout with scenery of rock formations and mountain tops. The Chumash out and back is not on AllTrails but the above website will give you info pics and some direction to the trailhead. We will be meeting off Flanagan Dr you can either park on the street or in the park both are free parking.
