SUMMARY:National Public Lands Day (Volunteer Event)
DESCRIPTION:About this event\nThe Angeles National Forest\, National Forest Foundation\, and St. Francis Dam National Memorial Foundation invite you to volunteer in the Angeles National Forest to celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday\, September 23\, from 9am-12pm followed by a provided lunch from 12pm-1pm. Volunteers will join the St. Francis Dam National Memorial Foundation to clean up the St. Francis Dam National Memorial and National Monument. Reservations are required\, as space is limited! \nImportant event information: \n\n\nVolunteers will meet at the St. Francis Dam National Memorial and National Monument. \n\n\nCoffee\, snacks\, and lunch will be provided. \n\n\nPlease be prepared to work outside in the shade and sun. Bring a water bottle\, a hat\, sunscreen\, clothes for varying weather conditions\, close-toed shoes\, and a desire to give back to your public lands. \n\n\nParking is available but participants are encouraged to carpool. \n\n\nMinors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. \n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact Christina Mondy at cmondy@nationalforests.org.
