We will hike on the Chumash to Humming Bird trails to Rocky Peak (2715′) with spectacular views overlooking Simi Valley and of Paeloscene rock structures and natural caves. \nBring water\, snacks\, sunscreen\, hat\, and a good attitude. Rain\, excessive heat\, or Red Flag alert cancels. Shoes with good traction and poles are highly encouraged for the mudstone/sandstone downhill sections. From the PCH the La Jolla Campground Parking Area is 4.9 miles northwest of Yerba Buena Road (Neptune’s Net); or 4.2 miles southeast of Las Posas Road.
