SUMMARY:RUSSIAN RIVER E-BIKE TRIP - DAY 1 - MOUNT MT TAMALPAIS
DESCRIPTION:I’m taking a 4 day trip to Guerneville on the Russian River near Santa Rosa. Guerneville is known for its natural environment and proximity to wine-tasting and redwood forests. Make sure you sign on to the events you want to attend. Four of our events (June 3\,4\,5) will start in Guerneville. Of those four\, three will be bike rides on narrow secluded paved back roads through redwood forested hills for the most part. One of the events will be a 2.5 mile inner tube float down The Russian River. (If relaxing on the Russian River isn’t your thing\, I have a bike loop route you can do instead on your own or with others that might choose to do so.) The one remote ride on June 2nd will take place 1.5 hours south of Guerneville on a narrow paved road starting basically at sea level and winding all the way to the top of Mount Tamalpais (Mt. Tam). Pack a light lunch to enjoy at the top while taking in all the views. SUMMARY:SAGEBRUSH CANTINA - Benefit concert & social hang!
DESCRIPTION:A Benefit Concert to Support Music Programs Affected by the LA Fires sponsored by the Agoura High School Music Program!\n—\nThe Eaton Fire in Pasadena\, Altadena\, and Sierra Madre had a devastating impact on the students\, families\, and staff of the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) community. Nearly 10\,000 homes and businesses were destroyed\, leaving thousands of families displaced or facing severe financial hardship.\n—\nJoin us at Sagebrush Cantina for an unforgettable night of music\, community\, and giving back hosted by the Agoura High School Music Program & Band Directors!\n—\nWednesday\, June 18\, 2025\nDoors open at 5:00 PM / Music at 6:00pm\n—\nSagebrush Cantina [g-map]\n23527 Calabasas Rd\, Calabasas\, CA 91302\nhttps://www.sagebrushcantina.com/\n—\nSuggested Donation: $25+ per person\n—\nA portion of food & beverage proceeds will also go toward supporting the cause!\n—\nSpecial Performances by:\n• Doc Step and the Expendables\n• Bob Hackett and the Phoenyx Big Band\n• The Chad Bloom Jazz Combo\n• Trailblazers Jazz Ensemble\n—\nTogether\, we rise —come out to support the incredible music programs impacted by the recent LA fires. Let’s make a difference through the power of live music and community.\n—\n** You don’t need to attend this event to donate. But hoping some of us will donate — AND can get together and hang out for a good cause!!\n—\nClick here to donate!\n—\nMORE INFO —\nSince this is a “social event” – I won’t be taking any roll call of sorts. This event is a great way for me to get the message out to the Meetup community! There is no real set time for you to come. I’ll be there sometime around 5:30pm. I also will not be keeping track of when people come and go — so this is a real “casual” LA ebiking & beyond meetup event!! Yay!\n—\nDISCLAIMER (Yea — still gotta do this!)\nBy participating in this event or any event I host\, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks\, releasing me from any and all liabilities. I am not a professional outdoor guide\, and you assume full responsibility for your safety. As we will be entering a wildlife area\, encounters with wildlife are beyond my control. (Yes!! wildlife at Sagebrush Cantina too!)\n—\nIf you drink\, please drink responsibly. Again\, by attending this event\, I am not liable for your actions before\, during and after the event. So\, if you like to socially drink\, think about getting an Uber or Lift or a sober friend to bring you home\, so we can see you at more events on the trail or on a social evening!\n——————————- * ——————————- * ——————————
