April 5 @ 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Since the inception of Calabasas Day Hikers in October of 2010, we have hiked miles and miles of amazing trails that have left quite the impression on all of us. We are like-minded people who LOVE the outdoors and hiking. So with this in mind let’s take a stroll down memory lane. The task for this week’s virtual hike will require some memory and research. For some of you longtime members, remembering might be a challenge since your first hike was many, many moons ago. LOL!

Here are the rules:

1. Post ONE picture of YOU on your first hike with CDH. I want to see your beautiful faces.

2. From that same hike post a SECOND picture of ANYTHING that made it memorable for you. It can be the scenery, something historical, or a friend you made that day.

3. Write in the COMMENTS section why your first hike was a POSITIVE experience.

Remember, this is a virtual hike with a stroll down memory lane. It will be fun to see some of the amazing places we have been and the memories we have shared as a group over the years.

I look foward to seeing your photos. I’m sure that some of you have been to places that I have not explored and hope to visit some day.

Virtual hike for you to enjoy:

Even though the daily routines in our lives have changed, we need to BE STRONG! BE SAFE! WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!

Remember to be safe on the trails and to follow the guidelines.

Trail statistics are approximate.  For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
