NOTE THE 6:15 START TIME!!! It’s 15 minutes before our normal start as we need to get done before dark!!!
Ahmanson Ranch (aka Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve) is our destination this week. It’s been used as a filming location over the years. Some of the movies that included segments from here include “Gone With the Wind” , “The Charge of the Light Brigade” and “Django Unchained”. It’s also proved to be a popular filming location for TV shows and Music Videos more recently.
We will be primarily on Lasky Mesa.
We’ll meet inside the park at the top of Vanowen Street. I would suggest street parking outside the park in case we’re a bit late getting back.
A few pictures are posted below.
