Join me on an exciting three day adventure to The Russian River area where we’ll hike along a beautiful coastline, hike among giant redwoods, float down the Russian River and hike in the hills above Napa Valley. Sign up for the days you can attend.
ACCOMMODATIONS IN AND AROUND THE AREA: Everyone will make their own lodging or camping arrangements. The best place to stay, as far as being closest to the events that are set up, would be in Guerneville.
DAY 1 AGENDA Wednesday Sept. 11th has us checking out the beautiful coastline between Fort Ross and Bodega Bay.

Should you choose to have breakfast in Guerneville, the River Inn Grill (16141 Main St, Guerneville) opens at 8:00 am.
RUSSIAN GULCH IN SONOMA COAST STATE PARK: Arrive there at 9:30 am. and depart at 10:30 am.
We’ll hike either to the beach (.25 Mi. RT) or the bluff above (.5 Mi. RT).
VISTA TRAIL: We’ll stop here on the way to Fort Ross for a .25 Mi. We’ll try to arrive at Fort Ross around 11:30 am and spend at least 1.5 hours there before heading south to Bodega Bay.

Famed movie director Alfred Hitchcock filmed one of his most famous movies, ‘The Birds,’ in both Bodega Bay and the nearby tiny village of Bodega.
Once we arrive in Bodega Bay we’ll stop for lunch at The Birds Cafe before heading over to the Bodega Bay Trailhead. The trail there will offer stunning coastline views from the bluff above. If time permits, we can check out the Bodega Dunes Beach.

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.
