Stunt Ridge Trail

May 17, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 12:33 pm

Rescheduled from last Firday

Here is another Friday Morning Hike. Even Paul would have been proud of our last one. Crawling up a ridge trying to pick the best route. Sliding back 2 steps for 1. Battling snakes and scorpions… Well okay there weren’t any snakes. No scorpions either. Just some wild cucumber…Ouch.

This will be the fun Stunt Ridge up to the lookout tower. Then back down in a loop. There is just one part on the way down we might have to decide on.

MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME: Stun Road mile marker 1.0. Hike starts at 8:30AM.

Directions: From 101 exit Las Virgenes Road and head south toward the beach. Turn Left on Mulholland Road. Go down a couple miles to Stunt Road and turn right. There is a dirt area off to the right at mile marker 1.0.

Traffic will be a bit heavy on the 101 at this point so allow some time.

RAIN Cancels. There is a chance of rain Friday Morning so check this post before you head out.

Trail statistics are approximate.  For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
