BRING ALL THE USUAL STUFF, I’M NOT YOUR MOM…. Bring clothing (sorry, nude hikes are a different Meetup group), lots of water–at least 3 liters, hat, comfy shoes, snacks, all your troubles…, guitar, camera, etc… Bring hand sanitizer as there is a little rat-poop in one spot, but it is avoidable.
LEGAL STUFF: finally, by going on this hike, you agree to assume all risks of this hike, and that no one at Meetup including the organizer is responsible for your safety. See the Meetup terms of service especially paragraph 6.2: http://www.meetup.com/terms/

Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.
Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
