Monrovia Canyon Wilderness Park
Let’s take on the Historic Ben Overturff Trail in Monrovia Canyon Wilderness Parks that has some of the most beautiful and undisturbed wilderness left in the San Gabriel Mountains. I took our beginners there last year to see the waterfall (a 3 mile hike). The seven mile out and back Ben Overturff Trail was too much for that group, but will be perfect for our Wednesday intermediate trekkers. There’s a parking fee of $5.00 for the Monrovia Canyon Park.
