WHAT: Apx. 5 miles, 1,000′ gain “conditioning” hike, which means we don’t take breaks. WHEN: Meet 6:25 and we start hiking at 6:30 p.m. This shouldn’t take more than 1 hour 45 minutes. WHERE: The trailhead is across the street from 5940 Las Virgenes Road. This is NOT the trailhead at the end of the road. If you get to the end of the road, you went a little too far. BRING: Water, appropriate clothing for evening hiking, and a flashlight or headlamp. This is a fireroad and is in good condition, but a headlamp may come in handy for avoiding mud or in case of emergency. DOGS: Well-behaved dogs are welcome but please keep your pooch on a leash at all times.
