6 mile hike with rock play at two off-trail play areas; 500 feet elevation gain.
Possibility of poison oak to be avoided at the second rock play area. I will point it out.
DETAILS: We will start at Garden of the Gods park (site of the Iverson movie ranch where lots of shoot em up westerns were filmed), and climb a few boulders. Then we will cross Santa Susana Pass Road and enter the State Park onto the El Camino Nuevo trail. Then climb around on some rocks. Then head back.
