• TGIF Full Moon Hike – Party Hike.
Dust off those binoculars and keep your eyes on the skies, as the seventh full moon of 2019 is fast approaching.
As one of 12 full moons to admire every year, July’s moon was dubbed the Thunder Moon by early Native Americans due to the summer thunder storms that occur around this time.
It’s sometimes referred to as the Full Buck Moon because at this time of the year a buck’s antlers are fully grown.
