“Formation of the Conejo Valley and its earthquake risk,” a talk by Derek Field

August 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The Conejo Open Space Foundation is presenting a series of local outdoors experts. This is the second in the series.

His presentation will include some surprising information on the formation of familiar landmarks in the Conejo Valley and the potential for seismic changes that might impact our communities and open space.

All 2019 speaker events will be held at the Grant R. Brimhall Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Check-in and refreshments begin at 6 pm; talk starting at 6:30 pm. Suggested donation $10.

Space is limited so online registration is required.

Trail statistics are approximate.  For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
