This is not an event, rather a call to action. One of our members, Jackie, will be taking donations of items and is also looking for volunteers to help the homeless in the downtown area. Please consider doing what you can to help.
She is seeking the following donation items:
1. Warm clothing, jackets, sweaters, and blankets.
2. Food items including perishables.
3. Other items such as socks, toiletries/personal care, etc.
You can bring these items to her on hikes or at other events, and if she isn’t there, I can take them. The deadline is Friday, the 15th, so please consider donating some goods or your time, as she is seeking volunteers to help, as well.
We all know how cold it gets this time of year, and it is the season for giving, so please consider donating something, anything, if you can manage.
