This event is the second part of two routes through Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks and will start out at 10:30 am. as a beginner’s loop trek to Paradise Falls via the upper Arroyo Creek that feeds it. You can also join this beginner’s trek right after doing the 8:00 am intermediate trek.
After the hike, as an option, you can join me for lunch at Stella’s Gourmet Restaurant. (2385 Michael Dr, Newbury Park)

The falls should be interesting to see after this Wednesday rains.
You can sign up for either hike or both.

MEETUP LOCATION: Wildwood Neighborhood Park next to the restrooms – SEE MAP FOR EXACT MEETUP LOCATION AND SITE BELOW:

MEETUP TIME: 10:30 am

MEETUP PARKING FEE: No charge for parking

DISTANCE: 3.5+ miles

GAIN: 350′

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: A good mix of single track and double track trail

THE PACE: 1.5 mph average pace

LEVEL: Beginner and above

Trail statistics are approximate.  For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.

Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
