AZTEC FALLS AND THE PINNACLES IN THE LAKE ARROWHEAD AREA – A WWW TREK
We’ll be heading back up to the Lake Arrowhead area again to take on a couple of short hikes. The first hike will be at the Arrowhead Pinnacles Trail which is a 4.6 mile in and out hike with an 1100′ elevation gain. For those of you that like to scramble on rocks, this place should be heaven to you.
The second hike will be a 1.3 mile in and out hike to Aztec Falls where we can see the results of what some people consider an improvement on nature. The once pristine Aztec Falls has been turned into a garbage and graffiti eye sore to the rest of us that have not let ourselves stoop to such subhuman behavior. If we each take a large plastic bag with us to carry out some trash, we can help a little to improve the area so that other lowlifes have a clean area to dump their trash in.
After our hikes we’ll head over to The Cedar Glen Malt Shop for a late lunch.
If you have to be back by a certain time, then this adventure won’t work for you. Sign on once you know that you’ll be totally committed to this date.
