DRIVING / HOTEL for 3 nights…
HIKE / chill / relax in a couple Indian ruins / new agey stuff / take photos / more hiking / Mexican food and a cool cafe!!
Hikes are fairly easy, with some rock scrambling (a couple years a 70 y/o woman made it without a problem)

~Hotel for 3 nights / carpool & gas / and “RSVP fee” comes to approx $425 per person based on room double occupancy and 3 per car… (rooms are all 2 queen sized beds)
~the “RSVP fee” is to cover the time it takes to put the trips together and the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who looks a lot like me…

in case of cancellation, 50% of RSVP fee will be refunded till AUGUST 10th… no refund after that but feel free to sell your RSVP to people on the waitlist if any
EITHER BRING FOOD FOR LUNCHES for 3 days, or buy in town. There’s a Circle K next to the hotel… or in Oak Creek there’s “Webers IGA” and in Sedona there’s a Whole Foods and a Basha’s. REFRIGERATOR in all rooms.
PARKING PASSES / 1 PER CAR – are available at Circle K and the Visitor Center on the way into town. $5 per day or $15 for the week

Drive from LA… drive time approx 7 1/2 hours… I’m leaving around 7AM, time to stop a couple times and get to Sedona around 5:00 PM to check in. Cool stops on the way are Quartzite and Montezumas Castle.
5:15PM: meet in POOL area and caravan to Airport Mesa for SUNSET
(MEET AT BIG pool in middle of complex… there’s a small one by the lobby)

7:30AM – 9AM – breakfast in hotel
9:15AM – meet in lobby… packed and ready to leave for the first hike of the day… we’ll line up for caravan in the parking lot. Hike is 3-4 miles with moderate rock scrambling. Back to hotel around 3-ish. BRING LUNCH AND LOTS OF WATER
4:00PM – Caravan from hotel for second hike of the day… 20 minute drive; 2-3 mile hike. $8 parking per vehicle. GREAT SUNSET PICS!! we will then caravan to the VORTEX PARTY
7:30 PM – FULL MOON FRIDAY the 13TH PARTY on the VORTEX!!!
BRING DRUMS or MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS if you got ’em… this party is AWESOME!!!
7:30AM -9AM – breakfast in hotel
9:15 AM – meet in lobby… packed and ready to leave for the day. We’ll line up for caravan in the parking lot. Drive 20 minutes for a 5-6 mile hike with a couple side treks to some Indian Ruins… bring LUNCH, SNACKS and plenty of water.
EVENING – dinner location TBD – NIGHT HIKE
7:30AM – 9AM – breakfast in hotel
9:30AM – meet in lobby… packed, checked out and ready to leave for the day. (those of you who want to go shopping in town can check out any time before 11AM
HIKE Cow Pie Mesa… an area where there’s 500 times the normal electromagnetic field… terrific energy!!!
Return home whenever you want
leaving at 3PM will get you home around 11PM
Trail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.
Trail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.
